Add 10 more to mine this week. I managed an hour of group weights and 1.5 hours of group kick this week. Legs feel like they've been beaten but it's a good pain.

My post is up! I had a goal of hitting 20 miles this week, and actually 23, bringing my total miles to 37! Yay! I had heat issues again, as well as the flu, but it wasn't going to stop me.

Ohhh, I suck. I've been so busy over the last couple of weeks, my treadmill's starting to gather dust. I'm starting tomorrow though. :) Already have my iPod playlist ready and my workout clothes laid out.
I hit 13 miles this week. My goal for this week was 15 and I didn't quite get there but I'll try again next week. I had some really intense workouts and I really felt my muscles the next day so I'm happy with my progress.
I don't even want to respond. I'm so behind. You KNOW I've had a crappy week, but 3 for the week for a total of 7. Boo.
Holy cow! Some of you people are killing me...
So, this week I've walked two actual miles, which between this crummy respiratory whatever I have and the constant rain is an excellent total, and done an hour of yard work - mowing, cutting raking. What does that add up to?

Well, my goal was to get started, and that I did. I ran/walked 2 miles yesterday with the help of Trish (Tricia) by my side (literally). I will get back into the swing of things. Total Miles = 2!
Okay, I did 4 this week. That's 1 more than last week, so I'm moving in the right direction :)
Some of you have done amazing. last week I logged no time because my son was sick, this week I logged none because now I am sick. I am hoping to get some Wii fit aerobics in tomorrow. Here in New England it snowed yesterday so walking outside will have to wait till this cold front passes. Good job everyone.
I put in extra effort this week to make up for the slothful preceding one. So, 19 miles for this week which gives me a total of 20. It would have been a lot fewer than that without this challenge to spur me on, so thanks everyone for the motivation! For me so far it's been all actual miles walked. This week, I'm going to try to add in some strength training at the gym. And maybe mix in some running with my walking.
I started today, which doesn't count for Oct 9-15, but I got in a mile. :-) Go me. I'm going to try and get it moving!
I posted my weekly breakdown of miles at my blog - http://destinyisdeafening.blogspot.com/2009/10/week-1-check-in.html
Total is 9 miles for the week. Not too bad, but I can do more
**
My goal this week for fitness is to add another five minutes to all my workouts.
My other goal is to get more fruits/veggies in during the day. I'm seriously lacking.
I just added up my total and I did 27 miles this week. The weather cooperated with my work schedule so I put in some good walking time. Looks like we are all on our way to that 100 mile goal!
I did terrible this week, so far! Events that I couldn't work around stole my usual workout hours from me. (I said yes to babysitting the grandkids on two separate mornings before going to work.) But I will jog 8 miles over the weekend. Onward!
I did 5 miles this week, for a total of 9 altogether on the sidebar. Thanks Trish!
Look at all the miles everyone did! Woo Hoo!
I did 20 miles this week, for a total of 32 for the challenge.
Last Saturday, I managed to come down with the flu... (been years since I have been such afflicted that I had actually forgotten how it feels).
So my total mileage was only 5 (making my overall mileage 20).
Hope you all are well and having a good start into week 3! ~Vicky
Here's my blog post:

I only walked 3 miles this week.
Heres my WEEK 3 POST
I walked 17 miles for a total of 32. The biggest hurdle is that it SNOWED here -- I was unprepared and so was mopey when I was forced to use the treadmill.
No particular goals, except to keep on walking!
8 miles, for a grand total of 16 miles to date. My hurdle this week was rain, which kept me from walking on my lunch and afternoon break for 2 days. I was a bit stir crazy by Thursday!
I only added 4 more miles for a total of 11 out of 100. Not a good week... this week will be better!
Hurdle overcome - our treadmill in the basement faced away from the stairs, so when the kids would come down to ask me something ('phone's for you, Mom', 'can I have a cheese stick?' ... you know, nothing urgent!), they would scare the heck out of me (since not only was I back to them, but I would be wearing an iPod) ... anyway, today my husband and rearranged the STUFF in the basement so treadmill is facing the stairs; a little change with a big difference.
My walk week goes Sunday - Saturday. I walked 15 miles this week, bringing my total to 21.
hey Trish, thought I'd share my progress for last week. Mine is here: http://ulatbukuinthecity.blogspot.com/2009/10/100-mile-fitness-challenge-update-12-18.html
Hope everyone else is doing great! XOX, Tash
Miles Run last week: 25
I keep a few playlists on my ipod: 80's music, current fast beat songs, I have a few 'albums' that I love to run to
Audio books: I have run to a few of them but I tend to run at a slower pace (which is fine). I been known to run 12-13 miles while listening to a book. I prefer abridged books, under 9 hours.
Last week I picked my 50 mile event in 2010 - I'm SUPER EXCITED
http://runmp.blogspot.com/
Wishing everyone a painfree, awesome running week!
You guys rock! Thanks for giving me your updates. Take a minute to double check I've added things up correctly (some of you I couldn't tell if you gave your total for the week or the challenge...).
And for those of you with bad weather, move it inside! Sometimes it's good to mix things up a bit.
Have a great week!!
And I'm making a small call for guest posters. If you're interested, let me know.
Oh, and 8 miles for me last week. A weekend trip put a spur in things but this week should be better.
:D
This was another bad week, only walked one mile. But I've already got a head start on next week =)
My post must have been confusing but I reached 13 miles last week in addition to the 5 from the week before. I have a total of 18 so far. Thanks.
Kristina - Glad to hear about next week!
Kristi - I'm sorry about that--I wasn't sure if you hit 13 total or just this week. I've got it fixed now. :)
Again playing catch up. Baltimore half marathon, plus walks added up to 34 miles this week.
