Progress Report: October 23-29

Please report your miles for the week! (Also take a minute to check your total in the side bar to make sure I've got it right-I'm having saving issues!).

Did you have any triumphs this week? Any hurdles to overcome?

What goals do you have for the upcoming week?

If you have an update on your own blog, leave us the link in the comments so we can come cheer you on!

No Guest Posts this week:
If you would like to guest post, please let me know in the comments or via email!

Keep in mind that we are quickly approaching the end of the month. Theoretically you should have 33 miles by the end of the month if you are trying to keep "on track." If you won't have 33 miles, don't fret--there's still plenty of time to make up your workouts. But don't get too behind!!
Have a great week!

I didn't hit the 20 miles while with my girlfriends, but we did walk 15 miles, bringing my total to 66! Even though three of the four of us have signed up for this challenge, it was not easy to prioritize walking when we had so many distractions...drinking, chatting, eating, sleeping on deck chairs...ha! Here is my post:

Well, I'm still behind, but I added another 6 miles this week, bringing me up to 15.

I got a big fat ZERO. It's been a bad week.

I've only added 1 more mile so far. It's been a busy couple weeks, but I'm still hopeful I will make it to 100.

I only got 12 this week. I tweaked my knee in Kick class on Tuesday so had to miss last nights Kick class. I'm not a happy camper. Hate when my joint issues get in the way.

12 for me this week, so 29 now.

I started out strong and then fell and badly sprained my ankle. I'm still determined though! For my first week I did 4.

only 8 miles for me this week (totaling 56).

Amanda D~ I hope your ankle heals quickly!!!

I only managed 3 this week, but I have had the kids off with half term so it has been impossible. I hope to make it up next week.

I got started a week later and then was on vacation last week ... yada, yada, yada :) Total so far, 39 miles.

My triumph is that I stuck with it for another week! I haven't exercised in so long. I did 9 miles this week, for a total of 17. One of these days, I will post on my blog! I would love some cheers!

I need to catch you up on my numbers. I walked 22 miles last week that I failed to report before going on the Cruise. Then we walked 15 miles this past week. Hard to believe we exercised and vacationed. So please add those 37 miles to my already existing 37 to make a total of 74. I weighed in today to see how much damage I did while eating and drinking during our cruise and lost a wopping .2 pounds. I will take it!

I only managed 1 more mile this week, giving me a whopping total of 6. I might try to increase my miles this weekend though. I need to get on track!

9 miles for me this week (14 total). Getting up earlier didn't work for me (maybe because I didn't go to bed earlier). I'm going to try again next week because I'd like to walk/run 3 miles a day.

Sorry I haven't had a chance to check in before. I am up to 35 miles so far and am so proud of myself! I haven't had a chance to do much this week as I have been away with work and was out late last night and am due out again today. I hope to get to the gym and pool tomorrow though and get stuck in again.

I was just short of my 20-mile goal for the week, posting 18 for last week. This brings me to a total of 34. Here is my post: http://m3kp.blogspot.com/2009/10/week-2-100-mile-fitness-challenge.html

This week I made it to the gym three times, but only walked 10 miles. Shin splints got me on day three, so had to cut it back.

I have to go two days on, one day off on the treadmill. Three consecutive days is too much on the shins.

I did 15 miles this week, for a total of 50. That's exactly 1/3 of my 150 mile goal ... I'm very happy because there have been several days in a row that I've done no walking!

Hurdle is getting down to the basement to use the treadmill. Instead of "seeing if I have time" in the afternoon when my older daughter gets home from school, I do it in the morning when my youngest is in preschool. It takes about an hour from my precious 2.5 hours of "alone time", but it's so important (housecleaning can wait!)

Meant to post this yesterday, but the day was crazy.

Total miles = 9

Only did three days this week, but I did a lot (for me) on those days. Hopefully, I'll improve.

Great work guys! I kind of feel like a slacker here. I got 7 miles this past week. I think for me the key is getting most of my miles done on the weekend since my weekday evenings are so busy (and heaven knows I can't drag my carcass out of bed before 6 am!!).

Hope everyone is off to a great start for this week, too.

4 more miles for me. I really need to get it in gear!

Only 5 miles this week, for an overall total of 36. So much for stepping things up!

Hi Trish, thanks for stopping by. I started late, Oct. 8th. So I didn't quite know where or how to start. Thanks for the invitation, If I figure out how to sign up...

Only 1 mile this week for a total of 32. I have three small children so the only time I can exercise is before they wake up or after they go to bed. I'm exhausted by the time they are in bed so I opted for early mornings. This week was terrible because my daughter kept waking up in the middle of the night so it was difficult getting up to exercise when my alarm went off. My goal is 20 miles for this week to make up for my lousy week this time.

Sorry so late in my update! I had a great week (for exercise at least - only thing that could take my mind off the crazy life, I guess). This week I added 15, bringing my total to 47.

Here's my post (only two days late!): http://shoredebris.blogspot.com/2009/11/100-mile-fitness-challenge-week-4.html

I can do a guest post if you would like. I have lots of mini workouts, supposedly easy & healthy recipes, etc, etc - just name your poison!

Add 6! Mine is right in the sidebar =)
I'm still having issues trying to schedule walking time with my 2 year old. And now that it's getting colder I'm not sure if bundling him up and taking him with me is such a good idea.....so I'm still struggling with that. I'll figure it out =)

Good news is, some of my co-workers said that they can see the weight loss in my face =) YAY!!

Got the rest of your miles! I can totally understand finding the time to get miles in and with the time change and it getting dark before I get home from work, all I want to do is veg on the couch! :)

Thanks you guys for being so great!

23 miles this week, walking and weight training. Slacked off from much of my earlier activity.
