Progress Report #10: March 5 - 11

Please report your "miles" for March 5-11 (Friday through Thursday). Please take a minute to make sure I have your correct total from last week.

Progress Report #10

Did you have any triumphs this week? Any hurdles to overcome?

What goals do you have for the upcoming week?

If you have an update on your own blog leave your link in the comments below. (Be sure to also leave your miles in the comments so I don't have to track them down!) Take a minute to visit the other participants and cheer them on!

Giveaway Post: Think the towel in the picture above is cute? Win two of them! Click here for giveaway details (deadline is 17th). Big thanks to Dana from Words to Sweat By for donating the towels.

So, we only have two weeks left (and a little) until the end of the challenge. Some of you guys are, like, total overacheivers (I say with love) and some of us are right on the brink of getting our 100 miles. As someone who still has 36 miles to go, instead of looking at individual miles I find it helpful to look at it in time. Basically I have 9 more hours to go until I read 100 miles--much more manageable than 36 miles! Maybe that helps you, maybe not. But we can do this! Push harder these last couple of weeks!

Another note of business. As much a I have loved hosting this challenge for the past six months, after much much deliberation I have decided this will be my last go. It saddens me to see the challenge go away as I know I'd love to continue, but I just can't commit at this time and you guys deserve a hostess who can give it her all. I am hoping that one of you will step up and take the hostessing reigns from me. If you are interested, please email me. I would be happy to pass on this blog to someone else so there will hopefully be a smooth transition. Since I started this challenge, other challenges have popped up on the blogosphere, so if no one steps in I'm sure there will be alternatives somewhere. But I'd love to see this go on!! I'd like to make a decision in the next week or two so that if there is a new hostess she can post sign ups for Round 3.

Hope everyone has a great week,

29 for me this week. The snow is melting, the daylight lasts longer, and the walking is great! Thanks for all your hard work, Trish, it has been very helpful, especially when the walking was icy and dark.

Hey, Trish. I made it to 100! Now it's all gravy!! I added 9 miles this week for a total accumulated miles of 104. Woo Hoo!

Total awfulness this week. I got absolutely no miles in this week. I'm finally getting over my sickness though, so hopefully after Laurence's birthday party tomorrow, I'll be back on track to finish by end of March!

I got 8 miles in this week before coming down with a cold. I'm up to 63 miles total, so I've got a bit of work to do over the next two-and-a-half weeks.

Thanks for hosting this challenge, Trish. I have truly appreciated the motivation!

I got 23 this week! (overall total 161).

My best week yet! I think I have found my new all time favorite workout this week (I've had a favorite that is leftover from my college days, but it might finally be a runner up instead).

Thank you so much Trish for hosting this... You've helped motivate me to get back into shape - and this week I just discovered - I have shoulders again! (or I mean I see a shoulder muscle seperate from my arm?)

20 miles this week for a total of 104!

I might not get to 100, but after a couple of "down weeks," I've made better progress this week. I'm up to 60 total.

I completely understand about the need to step back from hosting the challenge & blog. Thank you for all the time and work you've put into it. Even if I don't make the goal, the challenge has given me some motivation to get on the treadmill, during a winter when I would have preferred to hibernate. ;-)

I did 9 miles this week which brings my total to 67.

Thanks so much for hosting this challenge. I have loved participating in it and it has really helped motivate me. I completely understand not being able to continue hosting it.

I ended up with a nasty virus on my computer that has had me without one for a few weeks so I haven't posted an update. Have a new little netbook (which I love) so I'm back online. I was able to get 20 miles this week giving me a new total of 212 miles. I've got to kick it into high gear if I'm going to get anywhere close to my goal of 300.

I only did 7 miles this week. Our new dog was sick so I couldn't walk the dogs and my shoulder is still hurting so I didn't do my exercise videos. Good news--dog is better so I'm going to do some walking this coming week. :)

I am already loving the Daylight Savings Time switch! All this light! Yay! I am up to 68 miles now.

My triumph this week has been that I have a little more energy than I have been having. I was able to work out in the yard for the first time in forever. You know it has been challenging having chronic pain but I think I am doing pretty well considering.

My goal for this week is to go on an easy hike tomorrow, to go dancing, and to add 2-3 minutes more stretching and yoga to my usual daily routine.

I had a short week due to muscle spasms but still managed 15 miles for a grand total so far of 183.

Gah! I forgot to update you last week! I got in 22 miles, which brings me to 134. Sorry!!! :)

8 miles for me last week. The end is in sight and I'm confident that I'll truly be able to get those 100 miles.

Thanks for sticking with me you guys--YOU are the motivation!!
