Progress Report #13: March 26-31 FINISH LINE!!

A BIG CONGRATS on finishing the challenge! Even if you didn't get to 100, give yourself a huge pat on the back for sticking it through to the end.

If you have a wrap-up post, leave us the link in the comments form so we can come give you a pat on the back!

Did you have any triumphs throughout the challenge? Any hurdles to overcome?

What goals did you set and did you meet your goals? What would you do differently/the same next time?

Finally, I want to say a big THANK YOU for participating in the challenge. If you've seen the signups, you'll know that I'm passing the hostessing torch on to Allie and Jill. Seeing your comments every week has been such an inspiration to me and has continually helped me get off my butt and get moving even when I didn't want to. It has been a great six months and I hope that through Allie and Jill the challenge continues to grow. I'll still be around but I'm really looking forward to being a participant this time around.

Best wishes,

I did 9 miles this last week, so I'm ending at 117. I'll admit, I'm pretty proud of that!

Big thanks to Trish for hosting. It's been SO motivational.

Well, I burst out of the gate like a maniac, but my March! Ugh! The shame! Anyway, I did hit 249 miles which is not too shabby. I really subscribe to the idea of accountability. I took pride in reporting in my successes each week. What happened in March? I went to Maui for a week, and even though I did exercise, it was not a priority. Then set-up for book fair, a 3 1/2 day retreat, then book fair. I had no time to eat a proper meal, let alone exercise. Thank you Trish for all your support and hard work. We will miss you!!!!

Well I made it to 117 miles this time.

Barely, barely made it this time. Hit 100 this afternoon. Here's my wrap-up post: http://dreamribbon.blogspot.com/2010/03/100-mile-fitness-1st-quarter-roundup.html

Thanks, Trish, you've been a great host! I don't think I quite made it to 100, but I came close. Can't wait to try again next time, I'm so glad you got someone to take on hosting duties.

I fell short! I only did 61 miles out of the 100.

On the plus side I did work out more consistently. Not perfectly but more than not.

thanks for this challenge! I am glad to have participated! :) I lost a few inches and the jeans are getting
to be too big! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Going to sign up for the next round :)

28 for me this week, and I have enjoyed participating. I definitely needed the motivation back in January when it was cold, icy and/or dark every time I had an opportunity to get outside. Thanks, Trish, for all your hard work!

I did it; 100 miles. I have to say that I didn't think that I was going to be able to accomplish this goal, but I made it through. I am so proud of myself.

Able to do an additional 15 miles for a challenge total of 239 miles. I wish that the miles showed on the body. This third round I am going to really concentrate on food choices too.

Just barely squeaked by with 100 miles. There was a time when I didn't think I'd get there but I did!

Yes, I've crossed the finish line with 101 miles (163 km)! My wrap-up post is on Graasland.

I haven't been checking in regularly, but I have continued to exercise and keep track of my mileage, so I can report that I finished this challenge with a total of 134 miles. Well short of the 200 miles I was shooting for, but still better than the 100 miles I managed last time! I'm signing up for the 3rd challenge and will attempt to reach a still better number this time around. Thanks Trish, for keeping me moving all winter!

I managed 9 miles this week - for a total of 88. Although that's not 100, I'm still pleased with the outcome. I never would have done it with the motivation of this challenge. Thanks, Trish!

I've been missing in action most of March, lots of traveling with limited computer access. I was able to get some exercise in on my travels, just not as much as I usually do each day. With it all, I fell 35 miles short of my goal of 300 miles, but I am pleased with my total for the challenge of 265.
